Adults Paint & Spin Pottery Class - Gift Voucher

A$115.00

What to Expect in Our Wheel Throwing Class

Our Wheel Throwing class lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes and utilizes Raku clay. Each participant will receive 1 kg of clay (two 500-gram portions) and have access to a variety of underglazes for painting. All necessary tools will be provided, and you'll benefit from the guidance of an experienced potter who will teach you essential techniques. Your finished vessels will be dipped in a handmade, food-safe, and dishwasher-safe glaze.

To make the most of your experience, come prepared with patience and enthusiasm! We recommend having short nails (trimming is advisable) and bringing hair ties. This class is perfect for new potters to explore the basics of wheel throwing while enjoying a relaxing environment. You’ll have the opportunity to create and paint your pots as the wheel spins, allowing you to tap into your creativity and step away from the daily grind.

Your creations will be ready for pick-up in approximately 4-6 weeks. Please note that this class is suitable for ages 10 and up. Unlike our Kids Paint 'n' Spin sessions, adult classes allow students to work on two vessels, while kids create one. Additionally, accompanying and paying adults must attend the class. If you have questions about children younger than 10, please contact us directly for more information.
