Hens party - Design your own class

Welcome to the ultimate hens party extravaganza, where creativity knows no bounds and laughter reigns supreme! Get ready to unleash your inner artist and embark on a one-of-a-kind pottery adventure that's sure to leave you giggling and grinning from ear to ear with a beautiful and functional clay creation.

Cost: $145.00 (inc. gst) per person

Includes: 1 or 2 x pottery classes (glaze or underglaze)

Create: Design your own - personalised hug mugs, incense holders, candle holders, bowls, jewellery dishes, and other practical handmade keepsakes you’ll actually use and treasure long after the celebration.

Duration: 2 - 3 hours

Clay body: Dependant on the day (softer clay can be requested)

  • Make your hens party truly unforgettable with a bespoke pottery experience at Clay Temple! This is not your average pottery class. It is YOUR class, designed to suit the bride and your whole group’s creative spirit. Choose what you want to create, whether it’s personalised mugs, matching hug mugs, or something totally unique like bowls, vases, or sculptures. The options are endless!

    Once you’ve booked, you’ll work with our expert instructors to customise the session. Whether you want everyone to make a set of quirky themed pieces or each guest to create a personal keepsake, we’ll provide everything you need to bring your ideas to life.

    You’ll also get to choose from our selection of stunning dip glazes, and if you want to add a personal touch, we’ll glaze your creations for you after the class. Or, if you would like to keep the fun going, you can opt for a two-part experience and come back together as a hens group for a glaze class, where everyone can glaze their pottery in a fun and relaxed setting.

    If coming back together at a later date doesn’t work for your group, students are also welcome to extend their class on the day and choose from our hand curated colour palettes to paint their creations during the session. This option allows everyone to fully finish and personalise their pottery in one experience, making it perfect for groups travelling from out of town or working around busy schedules.

    It’s the perfect way to make the celebration last even longer, and you’ll leave with beautiful handmade pieces that will forever remind you of the fun-filled day.

    With all the freedom to create, customise, and connect, this pottery class is the ideal way to celebrate before the big day. Gather your hens, get your hands dirty, and let your creativity flow at Clay Temple!

    • Beginners

    • Dependent upon request, you can choose to create 1–2 pottery pieces per person, such as a personalized mug or a fun sculpture, based on what suits your group’s vibe and time available. Let us know what you'd like to make, and we'll guide you through the process!

    • Patience & enthusiasm

    • Having short nails will help, trimming is recommended

    • Don't forget those hair ties

    • BYO available

  • Delivery is possible and optional if requested. Shipping fees are dependant upon location etc.

  • Public dates for this class require at least six guests to run and can hold up to a maximum of 21

    Session one

    Attend the studio & create 1 x small clay vessel and 1 x large clay vessel

    Session two

    After 4 - 6 weeks, you'll return for a second class. You'll glaze the vessel/s you created at session one. Choose from our large range of imported glazes and learn the process of glazing.

    Collect your vessel

    Pick up your vessel from the studio or have it posted to you (shipping charges apply).
