Step into our serene studio on Mount Tamborine and share a meaningful, hands-on pottery experience designed to celebrate time with Mum. In this intimate wheel-throwing workshop, you’ll sit side by side and create your own wheel-thrown candle holders, crafted to hold both light and memory.

As you settle in at the wheel, you’ll be guided step by step by our experienced instructors in a warm, welcoming space. Whether you’re completely new to pottery or have some experience, you’ll feel supported and inspired as you shape your pieces from premium Australian clay.

You’ll discover the simple, grounding pleasure of working with your hands, each turn of the wheel creating something tangible, personal, and shared between you.

Once your forms are complete, the experience continues as you paint and personalise your candle holders on the same day. Explore underglazes, patterns, and colour, adding your own creative expression to each piece. From soft minimal finishes to bold, playful designs, each candle holder will reflect your individual style.

By the end of the session, you will have created a one of a kind piece that captures both your creativity and your time together.

This workshop is about more than pottery. It is about slowing down, making a moment, and creating a memory with Mum that will last far beyond the day itself.

What if you can't come back a second time to glaze?

No worries at all! Simply choose your glaze combo at the end of your session, and we’ll take care of the glazing for you. For this service we charge $16.00 per person.

For an additional flat rate of $80.00, we’ll ship your pieces directly to your door, fully insured up to $100.00. Rest assured, we wrap all our pottery with great care to ensure it arrives safely and in one piece.
