  • Our 6-week wheel throwing course offers a level of flexibility most studios simply can’t. Rather than a rigid timetable, think of this course as six personalised sessions scheduled at dates and times that work for you. We’ll work together to find times across the week or weekend that suit your routine, making it perfect for FIFO workers, NDIS participants, and anyone needing a more adaptable schedule.

What you’ll learn — and what you’ll create — is guided by your goals. Some students love a creative, exploratory approach and come in saying, “I want to make this today.” Others want to dive deep into the fundamentals and really master the technique. Our teachers tailor each session to you, whether that means starting from step one with wedging, building confidence on the wheel, or refining your skills by pulling clean, elegant walls with finesse.

This course is beginner-friendly, however participants must have previously completed our Beginner’s Intro to Wheel Throwing class. Over the six weeks, you’ll build a strong technical foundation both on and off the wheel, progressing from a complete beginner to confidently creating refined vessels.

To further support your practice, students have the option to take home a rentable pottery wheel for the first four weeks of the course (available at an additional cost). We believe becoming a potter comes down to practice and determination, and this optional add-on allows you to continue developing your skills outside of class time.

✨ This course may be covered by NDIS under social inclusivity and recreational activities. Please check with your NDIS provider, or feel free to reach out to us and we’re happy to discuss this possibility on your behalf.
