Paint & spin class for adults
In this beginners wheel throwing class, you‘ll experience the creation of two vessels and then paint them as the wheel keeps on spinning using our selection of underglazes. The pots will then have a translucent glaze run over them.

Our wheel throwing classes, comprised of six people, are designed to give you undivided attention towards learning the mechanics of wheel throwing.
We’ll provide hands on instructions to help guide you through every step along the way to help you bring your clay to life!
The vessels created will then have a translucent glaze added to them by the teachers at a later date to make it food safe and dishwasher safe.

What if you can't come back a second time to glaze?
No worries at all! Simply choose your glaze combo at the end of your session, and we’ll take care of the glazing for you. For an additional flat rate of $80.00, we’ll ship your pieces directly to your door, fully insured up to $100.00. Rest assured, we wrap all our pottery with great care to ensure it arrives safely and in one piece.

Age Requirements: These classes are suitable for 14+ year olds. Parents are required to attend/partake in class for children under 14-years-old, so don't forget to book in early to reserve your spots. If you wish for your child who might be younger than 14 to attend a wheel throwing class, keep your eye's peeled for our school holiday program where ages 8-years-old and up are able to attend.
What if you can't come back a second time to glaze?
No worries at all! Simply pick your glaze combo at the end of the session. We will then glaze it for you. An additional $24.00 will apply to send it direct to your door. (including $100.00 insurance). We wrap all our pots up nice & snug with care to make sure they arrive in one piece.
6-week intensive wheel throwing course
Once you’ve completed the intro class, you’ll be given a ticket and opportunity to further your passion for pottery and partake in a 6-week intensive wheel throwing course. This course was designed to allow the new potter to discover and practice the basic mechanics of throwing clay on the wheel. Techniques and methods will be shared and discussed and put into practice. Session one
Attend the studio & create 2 creations on the wheel and delve into the world of underglazes. Paint your pots as they spin on the wheel.

Drying, Firing & Glazing
Throughout 4 - 6 weeks your pots will undergoe a slow process of drying, firing and hand dipped into glaze. (Food Safe, Microwave Safe and Dishwasher Safe)

Collect your vessel
Pick up your vessel from the studio or have it posted to you (shipping charges apply).
